老鼠人

他们说着爱我，是为我好。

可是，我却被一点点的吞噬，终于，我变成了老鼠，你变成了人，他们却质问我“为何不在阳光下奔跑？” 

我能逃出这个下水道吗？

或者说——我还想逃吗？

就这样在下水道捡垃圾吃，也没什么不好，毕竟，我只是老鼠

They said they loved me —
“It’s for your own good,” they smiled.
And so, little by little, I was devoured.
Until I became a rat.
You became human.
And then you looked down and asked:
“Why don’t you run in the sunlight?”

Escape?
What a charming thought.
But who needs the sun,
when the sewer offers such generous filth?

Eating garbage in the dark isn’t so bad.
They said it’s better than being ungrateful.
And maybe they’re right —
After all,
I’m just a rat.
